Subscription Reminder is designed as an offline-first Android subscription reminder app. Core usage does not require creating an account or connecting to a remote backend.

Information the app stores

The app stores the subscription records you enter, including names, amounts, currencies, renewal dates, billing cycles, reminder timing, notes, icons, colors, and related app settings locally on your device so the app can function.

How your data is used

Your data is used only to provide the app's features, including showing upcoming renewals, calculating monthly subscription spending, displaying calendar renewal dates, and scheduling local notification reminders before renewals.

Notifications

Subscription Reminder uses Android local notifications only when you enable reminders. Notification content is generated on your device and is used to remind you that a subscription renewal is coming up.

Data sharing

The app does not require an account, bank connection, cloud storage, or server-side syncing. Subscription data stays on your device and is not sold by the app. This build does not include analytics or crash reporting.

Security

Because your information is primarily stored on your device, protecting access to your data also depends on your device security, such as screen lock and storage protections.

Children's privacy

Subscription Reminder is not directed to children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a remote service.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
